ISO 12647-2 Colour Quality Management
The BPIF ISO 12647-2 certification scheme: requirements and internal audit
This one day course is ideal for those looking to find out more about the requirements of the BPIF ISO12647-2 certification scheme and is ideal for internal auditors/colour champions for the scheme. The course covers:
- principals behind the scheme requirements
- understanding the colour quality system requirements of the BPIF scheme
- group exercises on specific colour quality system requirements
- what the audit product test looks for and how it works
- what the key areas are in the audit process
- the path to obtaining and maintaining certification
- internal auditing principles and the requirements of the ISO 12647-2 scheme
- internal auditing skills for the ISO 12647-2 scheme
The course is run by Jon Stack, PMC's Director, who is a member of the BPIF ISO 12647-2 certification scheme steering group, the BPIF's Technical Standards Committee, and who runs PMC's audits for the certification scheme. Courses can be tailored for printers or print managers.

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor with ISO 12647 (IRCA approved)
This course is IRCA approved and provides a fully internationally recognised Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 12647. The course has been developed with print specific examples and case studies and is geared towards those seeking and maintaining certification for ISO 9001 and/or ISO 12647, or those who wish to work as auditors for these standards. As a result of its ISO 12647 and print specific content, the course is the only one of its kind in the world currently. Those completing the course successfully will also be qualified to audit ISO 9001 systems, subject to further training on actual audits, independent of ISO 12647.
This course is available through PMC only.

ISO12647 and Colour Management for Auditors
This course lasts for 3 days and is run in partnership with a top UK university with a print specialist department. It is ideal for auditors wishing to gain greater knowledge of the basic principles and theory of colour and colour management, and of the ISO 12647 standard. Combining theory and practical implementation using the college's own pre-press and proofing systems and hardware, as well as their own press on site, those taking the course will have a sound knowledge of the colour workflow from start to finish.
The course is unique to PMC, and is ideal for auditors, or for internal auditors and other staff looking for a good level of understanding of the colour management workflow and the ISO 12647 standard.

- IEMA approved ISO 14001 Foundation and Advanced Lead Auditor Training
- Internal auditor training to assist companies in the implementation and effective auditing of their systems. This is a 2 day hands on programme that actually shows delegates how to audit.

- IRCA approved ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training
- Internal auditor training to assist companies in the implementation and effective auditing of their systems. This is a 2 day hands on programme that actually shows delegates how to audit.
